Runs inside the Podunk Bluegrass Festival at the Goshen Fairgrounds. The 2026 festival ran Aug 5-9 and has finished; the 2027 festival is expected in early August, though no dates are posted. The academy itself is Thursday orientation plus Friday evening and Saturday sessions, ending in a main stage performance. It is free and includes a t-shirt; walk-ups are welcome but pre-registration is encouraged. Ages 7-17, any ability. Students supply their own instruments.
