Next session is Sept 11-13, 2026 at Camp Blue Diamond near Petersburg, in Rothrock State Forest between State College and Huntingdon, and registration is open. Close to 50 workshops run across eight time slots alongside concerts, jam sessions and a contra dance with a live band. Old-time and bluegrass sit on the schedule beside Irish, blues, hymns and dance, with old-time and bluegrass jams, a clawhammer banjo intensive and fiddle technique classes. Registration is $105 early bird through Aug 10 and $130 after, or $87 for Saturday only. Meals are a separate $125 package covering Friday supper through Sunday lunch, and Friday afternoon intensive classes are $35 each. Lodging is on site, at $45 a person for a tent or camper site and $65 for a bed in a shared cabin. Every level from non-player upward is welcome, all ages, and family rates and a sliding scale are there if you ask. First-time military veterans register free.
