The 2026 weekend ran May 22-24 and has finished; the 2027 weekend is expected in late May, though no dates are posted. Three days of folk music on the Juniata College campus in Huntingdon, run by the Huntingdon County Arts Council. Registration was $300 in 2026 and covered all workshops, concerts and jams. Teaching spans old-time Appalachian and bluegrass alongside Irish, Nordic, blues, jazz standards, shape note singing and West African drumming, on everything from fiddle, banjo, mandolin and guitar to bass, cello, accordion, hammer dulcimer and harmonica. Total beginners are welcome and so are people who do not play at all. A meal plan covering Friday supper through Sunday lunch was $125, dorm rooms ran $110 to $220 a person, and Friday intensive classes cost $65 on top of registration.
