Next session is Oct 15-18, 2026 at the Menucha Retreat and Conference Center in the Columbia River Gorge, four days and three nights capped at 50 players, and registration is open. Rates run $699 for a quad room, $760 triple, $850 double and $975 single, each covering tuition, lodging and three meals a day; commuters pay $524 and a non-participating partner $260. Dave Keenan directs, with Amy Alvey, Hailey Pexton, Ethan Lawton and Forrest Marowitz teaching guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle and bass. It is pitched at intermediate to advanced players who want to sharpen their instrumental skills and spend the week making music with other people.
