Next session is Oct 14-17, 2026 at the Surfside Beach Holiday Inn Resort, the camp's 11th year. Registration is $500 and covers instruction in mandolin, guitar, banjo, fiddle and bass, a camp book of class materials and music, the Wednesday evening meet and greet with a catered meal, nightly concerts by students and faculty, evening jams at every level and one-on-one time with instructors. Rooms are booked and paid for separately at the host hotel using the camp group code, and other meals are on you. Alan Bibey leads a mandolin faculty of Don Stiernberg, Emory Lester and Ralph McGee, with Kenny Smith and Jeff Huffman on guitar, Ron Stewart on banjo and fiddle and Zak McLamb on bass; Doyle Lawson is the guest speaker. All levels are welcome and places are limited. A scholarship runs in memory of a longtime camper.
